Who is responsible
This website and the Lumen launcher are run by the Lumen team. Contact us through a ticket on our Discord server.
This website
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you open it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the requested page to deliver the site and protect it against attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising. Fonts and images are served from this website itself; no data is sent to Google or other font providers.
To show the latest version and to provide the install file, our server fetches public release information on its own. Your IP address is not passed on.
Links to other services
When you follow links to Discord, GitHub or Flathub, their privacy policies apply.
The Lumen launcher
Lumen runs on your computer. Your game files and settings stay in the ~/Lumen folder. When you sign in, you do so directly with Google (to download Minecraft from Google Play) and Microsoft (to play online); we do not receive your passwords or account data.
Our Discord server
Discord's privacy policy applies to the server. Our bot only processes what is needed for its features: your user ID and roles when you accept the rules or pick ping roles, and the messages in a support ticket while it is open. Ticket channels are deleted when they are closed. Join and leave events may be logged for moderation. Discord requires users to be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive your data in a portable format. To make a request, including a request to delete data related to you on our Discord server, open a ticket on Discord. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
